The Problem

The NetCov team installed a long-range signal booster with a directional external antenna aimed at the nearest cell tower 22 miles away. We installed the internal antenna centrally to ensure the enhanced mobile signal covered all the rooms. The installation was completed in 6.5 hours.
Key Challenges
Our engineers needed to take extra time to optimise the antenna position due to the distance from the tower. This allowed us to significantly booth mobile coverage inside the farmhouse property.
The Result
After the installation, mobile signal strength increased from 0-1 bars to 3-4 bars throughout the farmhouse. This allowed the homeowners to use the stable mobile hotspot connection for work and leisure and meant they could stay connected without relying on landline services.
